Homeless? You Count, so be Counted
The PIT is the annual Point-In-Time count that helps us understand how many people are experiencing sheltered and unsheltered homelessness on a given night across the country.
If you slept in any of the following places the night before the count, please come and be counted:

On the street, outdoors, in a park, on a beach, or by a river
-
In a car, van, or camper,
-
In a garage, attic, basement, storage structure, or abandoned building,
-
With a friend or family member on a temporary basis.

Not homeless but want to get involved?
We are looking for volunteers to help our community and some of its most vulnerable citizens.
Once a year, across the nation, our homeless neighbors are counted. These counts help us better understand homelessness and housing needs in our community.
Please donate a few hours of your day.
Volunteers are needed to:

Survey individuals experiencing homelessness

Provide incentives for participation
-
Collect and distribute supplies/donations
-
Provide Supportive Services
Volunteers conducting Count surveys will have required training for all volunteers.

Coos County Training dates and times will be sent by January 10th to registered volunteers.

Curry County Training to be shared by info@brookingscorerespone.org
All volunteers and service providers will be required to complete a confidentiality agreement before participating in this event.
