Calling all Bunco players! The first ever giant Bunco party will be held Friday, October 14 in support of Great Afternoons & Great Beginnings. All Bunco players, individuals or clubs, are invited. The entry fee is $30 per person. Prizes will be awarded for most wins, most losses and most bunks in each playing group. Light refreshments will be provided. A no-host bar is available. A benefit for the South Coast Food Share
Enjoy a delicious meal, and help our neighbors thrive!
Local restaurants have teamed up with the South Coast Food Share for Hunger Action Month. Dine at participating restaurants on select dates in September, and a portion of the meal proceeds will go to support feeding hungry children and families on the South Coast.

Donate to the Holiday Garage Sale, and help youth thrive on the South Coast.
Oregon Coast Community Action will be gathering donations of toys and other items for a garage-sale-styled fundraiser.
Donations can be dropped off at the South Coast Food Share from Dec. 6 to Dec. 10 from 8am-noon, and 1pm to 5pm, located in the Umpqua Building on SWOCC Campus, across from the athletics center.
BUY!
Come to the special "pre-sale" on Friday, Dec. 17 from 5 to 6:30 and the full sale Saturday Dec. 18. from 9 to 5 at the Coos Bay Elks Lodge. All proceeds help local kids. Please call Madeline at (541)888-7070 to learn more.
The Holiday Garage Sale is organized by The Coos Bay Elks Club and Community Action Adventure teens.

Come out and support the 2010 Bus Jam! Donate food or toys and help bring hope and joy to families in need right here in Coos County. Saturday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Coos Bay and North Bend Bi-Mart stores, donations of new toys and food items for children from birth to 18 years of age will be accepted and loaded into the busses to fill the need. All food donations will go to feed the hungry through South Coast Food Share’s 33 local food pantries, and toys will be distributed to families in need.
