Community Action Connect:  An Opportunity for Neighbors to Help Their Neighbors!

A mother and her two children in the Coos Bay area are in need of basic household items, such as pots, pans, bakeware, cooking utensils, crock pot, a microwave, along with bunk beds, and dressers. They are recovering from a crisis and do not currently have any household items.

A mother of five in Coos Bay is also in need of a new kitchen table. Her table is broken.

Please call 888-7171 if you can provide ant of the items listed above.

Community Action Connections:
Thanks for making valuable connections! Thanks to our Community Action Connect members! Due to your support, we have been able to help a local family get their water turned back on. We were also able to give a homeless man a certificate for groceries, compliments of McKay's Freshmart, and provide several local families with hot soup and bread from Colette's. For information on how you can make valuable connections, such as the ones mentioned above, visit www.orcca.us for information on how to become a member of Community Action Connect.
