CASA of Coos County!
The Coos County Court Appointed Special Advocates program is currently recruiting volunteers who can advocate for children in foster care in Coos County! CASA volunteers are appointed by our juvenile court judge to investigate, monitor, facilitate and advocate for children who have been neglected and abused. Advocates report their findings directly to the Judge, so that he can have more information in which to make very important decisions that will affect these children for the rest of their lives. Coos County CASA will be offering a 30 hour training, starting in May, that will equip you for this important task.
