Toy Tales Basket-ing Party
I'd like to invite you and the Girl Scouts to an end-of-year Toy Tales basketing party. The date is set for Monday, June 28, 5:30-7:30 pm (I know Girl Scouts meet 6-7 pm, but I wanted to provide for a little leeway), and it will be at the South Coast Food Share warehouse (the Umpqua Hall on the SOCC campus, which is on the west side of the Student Rec Center).
This will be a chance for everyone involve in Toy Tales to meet each other, from Girl Scouts to teenage volunteers, to adult volunteers. Also, instead of the grueling work of cleaning toys, it'll be creating baskets of toys, which is a lot of fun because it means organizing toys into themes! And food and drink will be provided. We’ll see you on the 28th!
A Visit from AmeriCorps NCCC
ORCCA is excited to announce a visit from an AmeriCorps NCCC team. They will be working on projects with Great afternoons and South Coast Food Share.
